4 players who scored most centuries against one country, Virat holds the record not once, but twice

There have been and still are many players in world cricket who keep the opposition teams sweating. This includes the name of Indian team skipper Virat Kohli. Virat scored a century in the fourth Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023. This was his 28th Test century. Interestingly, as soon as Virat scored this century, a special record was recorded in his name. Interestingly, he has done this feat only against Australia.

In the 4th Test match between India vs Australia, Virat Kohli scored 100 runs off 241 balls. Virat hit only 5 fours to make his century. As soon as he scored this century, a special record was registered in his name.

As soon as Virat Kohli scored a century, he joined the list of players with the most centuries against one team. Virat scored his 16th century against Australia with the help of this century. He is fourth in this list. Sachin Tendulkar tops the list of players who have scored most centuries against one team in international cricket. He also scored 20 centuries against Australia. On the second place in this list is Australia’s legendary former player Don Bradman (Don Bradman) who scored 19 centuries against England.

Sachin Tendulkar is at the third position and he has scored 17 centuries against Sri Lanka. At the fifth place in the list is Virat again and he scored 15 centuries against Sri Lanka. Former Australia captain Ricky Ponting is at the sixth position in this list and he has scored 14 centuries against India. (Most 100s against an Opponent Virat Kohli in the list)
