BCCI has decided to release Jaydev Unadkat before the second match of Border-Gavaskar Trophy (Border-Gavaskar Trophy) series being played in India vs Australia team. His name was included in the squad selected for the second Test match to be played in Delhi. However, his place in the playing eleven was not certain. After the consent of captain Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid, it has been decided to release Jaydev to play the final match of the Ranji Trophy for Saurashtra.

Saurashtra captain Jaydev Unadkat quit the Ranji team after getting a place in the team for the series against Australia. However, now his team has reached the final of the Ranji Trophy. The final between Bengal and Saurashtra will be played at the Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata from February 16.

India’s winning lead in the series
The first match of the 4-match Test series between India and Australia was played in Nagpur. In this match, the Indian team won by an innings and 132 runs. Along with this, he also took a 1-0 lead in the series. Now the second Test match will start from Friday (17th February) in Delhi. Interestingly, in the last 36 years, India has not lost a single Test match in Delhi. So India will have to maintain this record in the next Test.
