He was seen in high demand in the IPL auction. Apart from Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders also bid for him. Finally, Gujarat included him in their team with a sum of 4 crores 40 lakhs. He became the first Irish cricketer in the history of IPL to bid.
