Afghanistan crushed the canoes of Pakistan! A historic series victory was achieved by winning the second T20 match in a row

A three-match T20 series is being played between Afghanistan and Pakistan in Sharjah. The second match of the series was played on Sunday (March 26). Afghanistan celebrated a historic series victory by defeating Pakistan for the second time in a row. This was Afghanistan’s first win against Pakistan in any series.

Pakistan team was aiming to keep the challenge alive in the series by winning this match in Sharjah. Pakistan captain Shadab Khan won the toss and elected to bat first. However, Fazal Haq Farooqui pushed Pakistan on the backfoot with two knocks in the first over. After this Pakistan team could not come back in the match. Imad Wasim remained unbeaten till the end and made an innings of 64 runs. However, he took as many as 57 balls for this. Shadab contributed 32 runs.

Chasing 131 to win the match and the series, Afghanistan lost their first wicket for 30 runs. However, Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran made a half-century partnership without letting the team down. They scored 44 and 38 runs respectively. Then Najeeb Zadran scored 23 runs and Nabi scored 14 runs to win the team. Afghanistan defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets in the first match of the series as well.

After Ireland, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, Afghanistan has now managed to defeat Pakistan as well. The Afghanistan team under the leadership of Rashid Khan is said to have a great future in the future. Last year also in Asia Cup, he made India and Pakistan sweat.
