On the other hand, Raman Raheja, founder and CEO of the Legends League cricket tournament, expressed happiness over Finch’s association with the league. Raheja said, “When we started this league, we were confident that we would be able to get all the old players back on the field. After saying goodbye to cricket, most of the cricketers are into commentary or coaching or running academies. However, in addition there are many former cricketers who can still play cricket. We wanted to see such players on the field once again. Nice to see Aaron Finch in it.”

Career of Aaron Finch
Talking about the career of Aaron Finch, he has played a total of 254 international matches for Australia. He scored 278 runs at an average of 27.8 while playing 5 Test matches. In ODIs, he has scored 5406 runs in 146 matches at an average of 38.89. Additionally, he has scored 3120 runs at an average of 34.29 in 103 T20 matches. Notably, his 172 in T20 is the highest individual score in international T20 cricket. He has scored a total of 17 centuries in ODIs and 2 centuries in T20Is.

Apart from Aaron Finch, England’s Eoin Morgan, India’s Irfan Pathan, Pakistan’s Shoaib Akhtar, West Indies’ Chris Gayle, S. Sreesanth, Abdul Razzaq and Isru Udana will be seen playing for the first time in the Legends League cricket tournament.
