On the strength of his batting, Zimbabwe scored 332 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 50 overs.

Notably, he scored his second best individual ODI score against Oman. His knock of 174 against USA is his best score in ODI cricket. Also, his knock of 142 against Oman now stands as his second best score. In fact, he equaled Shubman Gill and Fakhar Zaman by hitting the third century in 2023. Indian opener Shubman and Pakistan batsman Zaman have also scored 3 ODI centuries each so far in 2023.
