Ajinkya Rahane is emotional after returning to the Indian team! ‘Such’ was the experience of bad times

Indian team’s experienced batsman Ajinkya Rahane is currently having a blast in the IPL. Rahane has also regained his place in the Indian team thanks to his performances in the domestic season and then in the IPL. Rahane has been named in the 15-man Indian squad for the World Test Championship match in early May. Rahane has had to work hard to make a comeback in the team, which he has shared on social media.

Ajinkya Rahane shared his experience with everyone by sharing a special post on his LinkedIn profile. “I think the journey of a professional cricketer is not always easy. Often things don’t go as you wish and you get stuck thinking about the consequences. But one thing I learned is always stick to the process and don’t let the outcome affect you. In retrospect, I feel that continuing the process in the face of adversity has taught me the most. During this time, I improved a lot as a person and as a cricketer. I think it was not a good time for me when I was thinking about consequences.”

“Following the process is not only important for cricket, it is also important in ether fields. It helps to focus on things. This keeps the focus on things within our control. When the process is followed, the results are less of a concern and it also motivates to keep working.”

“A player has been in the spotlight for years, I know how overwhelming the expectations can be. But I have learned that pressure should not affect us. Focus on the things that are within your control. I would give this advice to all who want to do well in their field. So everyone follow the process and have faith. Results will come automatically. But till then, keep working hard and try to perform better,” Ajinkya Rahane also wrote.

Meanwhile, Rahane played his last match for India against South Africa in January 2022. He has played five matches in the current IPL season so far and scored 209 runs. Meanwhile, his average is 52.25 and the strike rate is 199.04. Rahane has played 82 Test matches for the Indian team and has scored 4931 runs. If he gets a chance to play in the final of the World Test Championship i.e. WTC, Rahane can also play a match-winning knock for the team.

Indian team selected for WTC final – Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, KL Rahul, KS Bharat (wicketkeeper), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Akshar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Mohammad Shami, Mohammad Siraj, Umesh Yadav, Jaydev Unadkat .
