The Maharashtra Premier League 2023 season has reached its final stage. The last two matches of the league stage will be played on Saturday (June 24). The first match of the day will be Puneri Bappa vs Ratnagiri Jets, while the second match will be between Kolhapur Tuskers vs Egan Nashik Titans.
Although this is the last day of the league stage of Maharashtra Premier League 2023 (MPL 2023), all the four playoff teams have already been decided. Puneri Bappa, Ratnagiri Jets, Kolhapur Tuskers, Eagle Nashik Titans have already qualified for the playoff round, which will play the last match of the league stage on Saturday. The Pune team’s place in the playoffs was decided last on Friday (June 23). Sambhaji Kings won the match between Solapur Royals Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings. As soon as the Solapur team lost, the Pune team’s place in the playoffs was confirmed. If Solaparu had won this match, Pune would have had to struggle for the playoffs.
While Nashik, Ratnagiri, Kolhapur and Pune have qualified for the playoffs, Saturday’s matches will be crucial for all four teams. The standings may change after Saturday’s matches.
