Maharashtra Cricket Association has decided to restart its MPL competition after a gap of almost 14 years. A total of 6 teams are participating in this year’s Maharashtra Premier League. On Tuesday (June 13), the detailed information about MPL 2023 was received from the Maharashtra Cricket Association. It also got information about the venue, time and tikanta of the match along with the schedule. Let’s know all important things about MPL 2023.

The MPL 2023 tournament is being organized to promote and give the rightful platform to the talented players of Maharashtra. The Indian team has got many quality cricketers till date through the Indian Premier League. It is hoped that the country will get cricketers from the MPL as well. The league will begin on Thursday (June 15).

The names of the teams participating in the league are Puneri Bappa, Kolhapur Tuskers, Eagle Nashik Titans, Solapur Royals, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings and Ratnagiri Jets. The first match between Puneri Bappa and Kolhapur Tuskers will start at 8 PM on Thursday. Before that, the opening ceremony of MPL 2023 has been organized at 5.30 pm. Amrita Khanwilkhar will be performing live at the event. The final of the league will start on June 29 at 8 PM.

Those who want to watch MPL live at home can watch all these matches on DD Sports. If you want to go to the actual ground of the match and enjoy it, everyone will have free entry to the MCA Stadium in Pune.
