While batting in the first innings of that match, Shikhar scored a tremendous knock of 187 runs. India won this match by 6 wickets.

Shikhar has played a total of 34 Tests so far, in which he has scored 2315 runs with 7 centuries and 5 fifties.

Rohit Sharma
Indian cricket team’s veteran opener Rohit Sharma is second in this list. Rohit Sharma made his Test debut on 6 November 2013 against the West Indies in Kolkata and scored a stunning century in the first match.

Rohit Sharma scored 177 runs in the first innings of that match. Rohit has played a total of 39 Test matches in his career so far and he has scored 2679 runs in 66 innings. His highest score is 212.

Lala Amarnath
Former legendary Indian player Lala Amarnath is third in the list. He made his Test debut on 15 December 1933 against England. In that match, Lala Amarnath scored a total of 156 runs in both innings. He scored 38 in the first innings and 118 in the second innings while scoring a brilliant century. Lala Amarnath played a total of 24 matches in his Test career, scoring 878 runs.
