Virat has scored more than fifty runs for the 88th time while playing abroad in international cricket. Meanwhile, he left India coach Rahul Dravid behind. He had done this feat 87 times in his career. Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for scoring more than 50 runs for India in international cricket abroad with 96 times in his career.
Talking about Virat’s innings, Virat had scored 73 runs when play stopped in the first session on the third day. In the second season, he will have a chance to score the 76th century of his international career. When play stopped for lunch on the third day, the Indian team had scored 400 for 4 and India had a significant lead of 250 runs.
