Architecture Intercollegiate Sports League. D. Y. Patil College in the final round
Pune: Dr. of Akurdi. D. Y. Patil College of Architecture and School of Architecture Kolhapur d. Y. Patil College of Engineering and Technology Association Vivekananda Institute of Technology, Padma Bhushan Dr. The final match of boys’ football in Shearforce Tournament, an inter-collegiate sports league of Architecture College, organized by Vasantdada Patil College of Architecture, will take place.
The tournament is being held at the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) ground in Wanwadi. In the first semi-final match of the boys’ group in this competition, Dr. D. Y. Patil team beat Marathwada Mitra Mandal College of Architecture team 3-0. This fight was very one sided. The players of the ‘DYP’ team kept possession of the goal from the beginning and exhausted the players of the Marathwada Mitra Mandal team. In the fifteenth minute of the match, Ayan Yadav opened the account of ‘DYP’ team by scoring a goal. After this, in the 18th minute, Ayan scored the second goal to increase the lead of the ‘DYP’ team to 2-0. Shareek Shaikh scored in the 22nd minute to strengthen the lead of ‘DYP’ to 3-0. Keeping this lead till the end, the ‘DYP’ team won.
In the second semi-final, Kolhapur’s School of Architecture D. Y. Patil College of Engineering and Technology team defeated Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Architecture team by 1-0. The goal scored by Anish Pawar in the thirteenth minute of the match was decisive. After this Bharti University tried desperately to equalize. However, they did not succeed.
Final at Nanavati College-Brick College
Dr. in the girls’ football competition. The final battle will be between Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture and Brick School of Architecture. In the first semi-final match, Nanavati College defeated S. B. Defeated Patil College of Architecture team 3-2 in tiebreak. The match ended in a goalless draw at the stipulated time. This was followed by a shootout. In this, Vaishnavi Nivekar, Sejal Tate, Samriddhi Shende scored goals from Nanavati College, while only Sneha Gaikwad and Nirhya Hule could score from Patil College.
Brick School then defeated Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Architecture by 5-4 in sudden death. Both the teams could not break the deadlock in the allotted time. As the match ended in a 0-0 draw, a shootout was resorted to. Aanchal Mugdia, Isha Joshi, Sonali Singh, Bhumika Gayke scored goals, while Purva Chakkar, Shruti, Sanika Patil, Aishwarya Nimbalkar scored goals to equalize again. So sudden death was adopted. In this, Yashaswini Patre from Brick scored a goal and gave victory to Brick School.
