Arshdeep Singh made it to the Indian team only after his brilliant performance in the IPL last year. After his excellent performance in the opening matches, he directly got a place in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup. He has been India’s most successful bowler in this tournament as well. However, after this, his performance declined somewhat. As a result, he was dropped from the Indian team.

Arshdeep, who is trying to make a comeback in the Indian team, has now signed with Kent County Club for the English County Championship. He will represent Kent in five matches in the upcoming season.

Reacting after signing with Kent, Arshdeep said,

“I love playing first-class cricket. I will try to improve my skills further by playing first-class cricket in England. Rahul Dravid sir has also told a lot about his days with Kent team and his experiences then. I am very excited to play in England.”

Currently, many players in the Indian team are contracted to county teams. This includes Cheteshwar Pujara, Krunal Pandya, Navdeep Saini, Umesh Yadav and Washington Sundar. The upcoming season of county cricket will start in the month of June.
