The final match of the World Test Championship will be played between India and Australia in the month of June. The Indian team has reached the final of the World Test Championship for the second time in a row. As the final match is being played in England, the Indian team can play only one spinner in this match. There are three contenders in the Indian team for this one spot. Dinesh Karthik was speaking in an interview recently. Which spinner will get a chance in the World Test Championship final at that time? When asked this question, he said,

“Conditions in England are definitely not conducive to spin. Last time we gave both Ashwin and Jadeja a chance in the final eleven. This was a big mistake. That is unlikely to happen this time. This time only one spinner will be in the final eleven.”

Karthik further said,

“This time if both Jadeja and Ashwin are fit, Akshar will definitely not get a chance. I think Shardul Thakur will be in the team. This is a great opportunity for India to make up for its past failures.”

The Indian team also entered the finals of the World Test Championship for the first time. At that time, New Zealand defeated the Indian team. This time the Indian team will face Australia in the final round. The match will start from June 6 at the Oval ground.
