Ashwin’s act made Virat Kohli laugh out loud, and the reaction of the Australian batsmen was worth watching
The second Test match between India and Australia was decided on Sunday (February 19). Rohit Sharma-led India won the second consecutive Test match of the series. Ravichandran Ashwin contributed as much as Ravindra Jadeja to help the team win the Delhi Test. A video is currently going viral on social media. In the video, Virat Kohli is seen laughing out loud because of an act done by Ashwin in a live match.
The first match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia (IND vs AUS) was played at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur. India won the match between the two teams by an innings and 132 runs. The second match of the series was played in Delhi and on Sunday (February 19) India also won this match by 6 wickets. India currently lead 2-0 in the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023.
On the third day of the Delhi Test, Ravichandran Ashwin did something in a live match that left Virat Kohli smiling on the field. Australia’s second innings ended on the third day of the Delhi Test and India won the match on the third day as well. Ashwin was caught in the 15th over of Australia’s second innings. Four balls into the over and Marnus Labuchagne was on strike to play the fifth ball. Ashwin runs in to bowl, but doesn’t release the ball.
Ashwin has done this many times before. But this time he did not try to talk the batsman on non-strike. Ashwin just enjoyed the moment. Both Labuschagne on strike and Steve Smith on non-strike were seen smiling at this time. Virat Kohli, who was standing in the field for fielding, was clapping loudly and laughing. The video of this incident is currently going viral on social media.
