“Attitude got me out of the team”, Hardik himself revealed sensationally

In IPL 2023, Gujarat Titans under the leadership of Hardik Pandya is seen to be performing at its best. Gujarat has maintained its top position in the points table with consistent performance. At the same time, he also revealed in a recent interview that he was dropped from the team citing his attitude while playing junior cricket.

Hardik has been a regular member of the Indian team for the past seven years. He also got the chance to lead the Indian team last year. However, there was a time when he had to be kicked out of the team due to his temperament. In an interview with former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa, he said,

“When I was playing for the under-17 team, I was not selected for the team despite performing well. At that time I made around 800 runs. However, even then, a player who scored 300 runs was given a chance. At that time, while giving the reason, it was said that my attitude is not good. However, self-respect is important to me. If you respect me, I will definitely respect you.”

Hardik expressed his views on many issues in this interview. He said that his brother Krunal had an important contribution in his career. He also said that he has given us guidance and support from time to time.

Hardik has been leading Gujarat since last year. In the very first season, he led Gujarat to the IPL title under his leadership. Since then, this season too, Gujarat have won 7 out of 10 matches and have taken a step towards the play-offs.
