Australia will make an important change in the second test! 2022 will be a chance for the famous player?

The second match of the Test series between India and Australia will be played in Delhi on Friday (February 17). Australia will try to make a comeback in the series from this match which will be held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. After losing the first Test in Nagpur, Australia will see changes in their squad for this Test. Australian captain Pat Cummins has made an indicative statement about this.

The first match of the four-match series was played at Nagpur. In this match, the Indian team dominated one-sidedly. The hosts beat Australia by an innings and 132 runs in just three days. Australia’s batsmen had to face the defeat as the Indian spinners slogged ahead. Speaking before the Delhi Test, Australian captain Cummins hinted at a change in the team. Talking about middle-order batsman Travis Head, he said,

“Head is in fantastic form at the moment. His performance last year was outstanding. We are in discussions to include him in the team.”

Head is currently ranked fourth in the world Test batting rankings. Many former cricketers expressed their displeasure when Matt Renshaw was left out of the Nagpur Test. Cummins also expressed his opinion about veteran batsman David Warner. he said,

“Warner has a huge fan following in India. When he is in his form, he dominates the bowlers. We don’t want to talk too much about this pitch. However, we will definitely see the ball rolling here as well.”
