BCCI in ‘action mode’ after constant injuries! In IPL, the ‘third eye’ will be kept on the key players

The next season of the Indian Premier League, the world’s biggest professional T20 league, begins on March 31. All major Indian players will be seen playing in this season. This year is going to be very important for Indian cricket. Because, immediately after the end of the IPL, the Indian team has to play the final match of the World Test Championship as well as the ODI World Cup. For this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken an important decision.

All the key players in the Indian team are going to play in the next season of IPL. Many players get injured during IPL. In that regard, the BCCI has asked the National Cricket Academy (MCA) to keep a special eye on all these players.

BCCI Secretary Jai Shah and NCA Director VVS Laxman had a meeting recently. In this, Shah took information from Laxman about the injuries of the players. He also advised to keep an eye on the players who are part of India’s Test and ODI squads in the upcoming IPL. It has also been asked to discuss the workload management of these players with the franchises of those players on a regular basis. He also inquired about the injury and rehabilitation program of the players currently in the NCA.

The Indian team is currently plagued by injuries to key players. He made a comeback last month after being sidelined from international cricket for nearly five months. So, Jasprit Bumrah has been sidelined from cricket since August due to back pain. He has undergone surgery and can be available to play in the month of July-August. After that now the team’s leading batsman Shreyas Iyer is also suffering from back pain.
