Big blow to Team India during India-Australia test series, new update on Bumrah’s fitness

The Border Gavaskar Test series between India and Australia began on Thursday (February 9). The first Test match between the two teams is being played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. Although the Indian team put up an impressive performance on the first day of the first Test, leading fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been feeling low. Bumrah was expected to return to the squad for the third and fourth Tests against Australia, but the wait for his return is expected to be long.

Jasprit Bumrah has played for India in Test, ODI and T20 formats. But in the last year, there were reports of Bumrah getting injured repeatedly. Bumrah has not been able to play a single international match since last few months. He is currently undergoing rehab training at NCA due to a back injury. For this reason, Bumrahan is also not playing in this Test against Australia. Although Siraj was not included in the BCCI’s squad for the first two Tests, he was tipped to make a comeback in the last two matches. But according to the latest information, Bumrah is withdrawing from the entire Border Gavaskar Trophy.

According to The Telegraph, the team management does not want to take the risk of playing Bumrahan in the Test series against Australia. This year, the Indian team wants to play the ODI World Cup which will be held at home. Bumrah can play an important role for India in the ODI World Cup. According to information, the team management has not yet decided whether Bumrahan will play in the ODI series against Australia which will be played after the Test series. A final decision on this can be taken in the next week. The ODI series against Australia will be played from March 17 to 22.

“Jasprit Bumrah has been going through a full bowling session at the NCA for the last few days and has performed well,” reported the Telegraph, quoting reliable sources. The next day of the practice session there was no tension. This is the best thing for him.” According to information, Bumrah is currently practicing bowling with a padhya ball in NCA. It is almost certain that Bumrah will not play in the final two Tests against Australia. (Jasprit Bumrah may also be ruled out of the last two Tests against Australia)
