Big news! Asia Cup 2023 will be held outside Pakistan? Sri Lanka and Bangladesh support India

The issue of hosting the Asia Cup 2023 has been in the news for the past few months. Asia Cup will be organized in Pakistan. Now Pakistan has got a big shock due to the organization of the tournament. The Board of Control for Cricket in India i.e. BCCI has received strong support to host the Asia Cup outside Pakistan. This support has been received from Sri Lanka Cricket and Bangladesh Cricket Board. Now this is considered as a shock for the Pakistan Cricket Board.

According to Geo Sports, if the Asia Cup is held outside Pakistan, both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have shown interest in hosting the tournament.

Asia Cup 2023 will not be held in Pakistan?
It is worth noting that the Board of Control for Cricket in India has clearly refused to send its team to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023. India has made it clear that the Asia Cup will be held outside Pakistan and they will not travel to Pakistan for the tournament.

After this, Pakistan has also discussed about suggesting options to persuade the BCCI. In this, Pakistan will host the Asia Cup matches and India will play their matches in the UAE. However, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has not agreed on this option.

Pakistan Cricket Board President Najam Sethi also said that if the Asia Cup is held outside Pakistan, then Pakistan will not play in this tournament. If Pakistan refuses to play in the Asia Cup, the ACC can replace them with the UAE team.

Jai Shah has also prepared a plan to compensate the broadcasters. BCCA secretary and ACC president Jai Shah said the loss to broadcasters due to Pakistan not coming would be compensated by hosting any series in India in future.
