Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has heaped praise on Suryakumar Yadav. According to Harbhajan, no batsman has been able to do the way Suryakumar dominates the bowlers till date. Meanwhile, fans got to experience an exciting match between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians on Wednesday (May 3). Mumbai won this match by 6 wickets. Suryakumar contributed a half-century in this victory.

The 46th match of Indian Premier League i.e. IPL 2023 was played between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings. In this match between the two teams, Punjab scored 214 for 3 in 20 overs while batting first. In reply, Mumbai Indians reached the target in 18.5 overs. Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav became the match winners. Ishan scored 75 runs off 41 balls, while Suryakumar Yadav smashed 66 runs off 31 balls. Apart from these two, Tim David and Tilak Verma scored 19 and 26 not out in the last overs for Mumbai. Harbhajan Singh is impressed with Suryakumar’s performance in this match and overall in IPL.

Speaking on Star Sports, Harbhajan said, “I have never seen anyone put pressure on the bowlers in such a manner. I have played a lot of cricket. I have never seen a player who dominates like this. AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle have good games. But I think no batsman has been able to perform like Suryakumar. Surya does not care which bowler is in front of him. He knows where to hit every ball. He has all kinds of shots, which he can hit for boundaries.”

Meanwhile, Suryakumar was seen struggling to score runs in the opening matches of the current IPL season. But in the last few matches, his bat has been fried well.
