The second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series between India and Australia begins on February 17. Ahead of this match to be played in Delhi, there is good news for the Indian team. Indian team’s star batsman Shreyas Iyer has returned to the team. The BCCI sent Iyer to the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore as a precautionary measure ahead of the Nagpur Test. However, BCCI itself has tweeted the information about his comeback.
Shreyas Iyer had a back injury. Due to this, he was also out of the ODI series against New Zealand which was held last month. BCCI has issued a statement on Twitter. Releasing the statement, he captioned it, “Shreyas Iyer joins Indian squad for Delhi Test.”
