The player auction for the Maharashtra Premier League organized by the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) was held in Pune on Tuesday (June 6). A number of up-and-coming players were bid for in the auction, which featured six teams. MCA president Rohit Pawar made a big announcement during this auction. He said that next year in a similar manner, the Women’s Maharashtra Premier League will be organized with four women’s teams.
