Bumrah’s comeback will be delayed till September! BCCI will now take a tough decision about the career
Jasprit Bumrah, the veteran fast bowler of the Indian cricket team, has not played any form of cricket for a long time. He is now also likely to miss the upcoming IPL due to back pain. So now it appears that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is preparing to take a big decision. This decision could have a major impact on his career.
Bumrah was in talks to make a comeback from the IPL starting at the end of March. However, according to reports a few days ago, Bumrah will not play in the IPL and then the finals of the World Test Championship as he has not fully recovered from the injury. After that, according to the new information, Bumrah will need some more time to recover from this injury. Therefore, there is a question mark on his participation in the Asia Cup which is being held in the month of August.
According to a report by a cricket website, Bumrah is yet to recover from his back injury. He is undergoing a rehabilitation program at the National Cricket Academy. However, BCCI doctors have advised him to undergo surgery and soon BCCI will take a decision on this. BCCI aims to get him fully fit for the upcoming World Cup.”
Bumrah was unable to play the important tournaments like Asia Cup and T20 World Cup due to back injury. He then withdrew from the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy four-match Test series against Australia and the upcoming ODI series. He started bowling in the month of December. However, he could not make his comeback due to injury once again.
