Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara is playing his 100th Test match. He is the 13th Indian player to play 100 Test matches. Prior to batting in his 100th Test, Pujara had scored 7021 runs at an average of 44.16 in 169 innings for the Indian team in 99 Test matches. His best score in Tests is 206. He has scored 19 centuries and 34 fifties for India in Tests.

Apart from Pujara, Sachin Tendulkar is the first player to have played 100 or more Test matches for India. He has played a total of 200 Test matches for India. After that, Rahul Dravid is at the second position. He has played 163 Test matches for India. Also, in third place is VVS Laxman who has played 134 Test matches. This is followed by Anil Kumble (132), Kapil Dev (131), Sunil Gavaskar (125), Dilip Vengsarkar (116), Sourav Ganguly (113), Virat Kohli (106*), Ishant Sharma (105), Harbhajan Singh (103) and Virender Sehwag (103) has also achieved the feat of playing 100 Test matches for India.
