Congratulations Dhoni! Sandeep Sharma’s post of bowling a yorker to give Rajasthan victory goes viral

All the fans expected Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni to hit a six off the last ball. But fast bowler Sandeep Sharma put all his experience to work to lead Rajasthan Royals to victory on Wednesday (April 12). Dhoni, the world’s best finisher, was on strike with five runs needed off the last ball. But Sandeep still made Rajasthan win. After winning the match, he shared a special post for Dhoni on his official social media account.

MS Dhoni has been the captain of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) since the first season of IPL. Under his leadership, CSK played their 200th IPL match on Wednesday. Fans were hoping that Dhoni would win his 200th match for CSK as captain. But this could not happen due to the amazing bowling of Rajasthan Royals fast bowler Sandeep Sharma. After Rajasthan’s win, Sandeep tweeted, “Congratulations Dhoni Paji for playing 200th IPL match. It’s a matter of pride for me to field with him and bowl to him.”

Meanwhile, considering the match, CSK was given a target of 175 176 runs to win. Sandeep Sharma came in to bowl the last over of the innings. In this over, CSK needed 21 runs to win. The pressure in the field was clearly visible on Sandeep’s face. He bowled both the opening balls wide. After that, Dhoni on strike could not score a single run on the first ball. But on the second and third balls, Dhoni hit two consecutive sixes. Dhoni scored a run on the fourth ball, while Jadeja again scored a run on the fifth ball and gave Dhoni a strike. Dhoni was on strike off the last ball and needed 5 runs to win. This ball was hit by Sandeep for a tremendous yorker, which even Dhoni couldn’t play.
