CSK shocked by Ben Stokes before IPL 2023! Dhoni will leave from the half with the brigade

England Test captain and legendary all-rounder Ben Stokes has made a big splash ahead of IPL 2023. For Indian Premier League 2023, Stokes was bought by Chennai Super Kings for a huge fee. But Stokes will not be able to play the entire 16th season of IPL. In the last few matches, it appears that Stokes will leave the Dhoni brigade.

Ben Stokes gave this information about IPL 2023 while talking to the media. Stokes may return home in the final few days of the IPL to prepare for the Test against Ireland and Ashes 2023. This upcoming season of IPL will start on March 31 and the final match will be played on May 28. According to media reports, when Stokes was asked about playing the Test match against Ireland, he said that he would be available for the match.

Stokes’ gesture has been reported as saying, “Yes, I will play. I am making sure to give myself enough time and play the match against Ireland.” Stokes is not the only England player to participate in IPL 2023. English players Joe Root, Mark Wood, Jonny Bairstow, Liane Livingstone, Jofra Archer and Sam Curran will also play in the IPL. In this case, it cannot be said for sure whether these players will be available for the entire IPL season or not. Stokes will discuss IPL with all of them.

“I will discuss with all the players and ask them, do they want to be ready for the Ashes series? Because these five Ashes matches are really important. We have to see what the players think,” Stokes added. Meanwhile, the England team is currently on a tour of New Zealand. A two-match Test series is being played here in both teams. England have won the first match of the series and the second match will start on February 24

Stokes has played for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Lucknow Super Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals this year. But CSK pounced on Liliva and brought Stokes into the fold. CSK has bought Stokes for Rs 16.25 crores. Stokes has previously played with MS Dhoni () in 2017 as well, when he was part of the Rising Pune Supergiants team.
