Dada impressed by Boland’s bowling! Said, “That alone will get us to the final…”

India and Australia are seen clashing in the final match of the World Test Championship. The Australian team dominated the first two days of this match which is going on at the Oval ground in England. On the second day, the Indian team scored 151 runs for the loss of five wickets. At that time, Australia’s young fast bowler Scott Boland was successful in keeping the batsmen of the Indian team in check. His bowling impressed former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly.

After the Australian team scored huge runs in their first innings, the Indian team needed to respond. However, all the fast bowlers of Australia did not allow the Indian batsmen to bat with discipline. So when the second day’s play ended, the Indian team had scored 151 runs for the loss of five wickets.

Scott Boland, who got a chance to replace the injured Josh Hazlewood, bowled brilliantly in this match. He took the wicket of Shubman Gill for 29 runs in 11 overs. Meanwhile, Boland bowled at one stage and gave trouble to all the Indian batsmen. Impressed by his bowling, Ganguly said,

“Boland impressed me a lot. Vedas and is the right phase. This pitch seems to help his bowling style. So the Indian team will have to meet its own challenge in all the matches.”

Boland is not a regular member of the Australia team. Since Cummins, Starc and Hazlewood are the main fast bowlers of the Australian team, he gets a chance only if one of them is unavailable.
