“Dhoni is worshiped in India”, recounted the CSK champion’s experience after returning home

Conway has been part of Chennai since last season. He contributed significantly to the team for the second season in a row. He should get the team off to a fast start in the finals as well. Speaking in an interview after returning home, he especially praised Chennai Super Kings and Dhoni. he said,

“I played the IPL for the second year in a row. I had an unforgettable experience this time. MS Dhoni is loved all over the country. I would say it is worshipped. Whenever we played at the opponent’s home field during the season, we missed our home field. Everywhere we met the same support.”

Speaking in this interview, he said that this was the highlight of my T20 cricket career so far. Conway has been extremely consistent in the IPL this year. He scored 672 runs at an average of 51.69 in 16 matches for the team. He ranked third among the highest run-scorers in the tournament. With Chennai needing 171 runs in 15 overs to win in the final match, he laid the foundation for the team’s victory with a quick 47 runs.
