Dhoni’s praise from ‘Chinna Thala’; As CSK went into the final, he said, ‘He will put his hand, that thing…’

Indian Premier League 2023, the world’s biggest and most prestigious T20 league, has reached its final stage. It also got the first team to play the final match of this tournament. That team is none other than Chennai Super Kings. Chennai beat Gujarat Titans by 15 runs in the first qualifier on Tuesday (May 23) to book their ticket to the final. After this win Mr IPL Suresh Raina praised MS Dhoni. Raina, popularly known as Chinna Thala, said that everything Dhoni touches turns to gold.

MS Dhoni led the Chennai Super Kings team to a 15-run win against the Gujarat Titans. Also, IPL 2023 (IPL 2023) has secured tickets for the final match of the tournament. In the first qualifier match played at the Chepauk Stadium, CSK scored 172 runs for the loss of 7 wickets while batting first. Chasing this challenge, the Gujarat team lost all wickets for just 157 runs.

Raina praises Dhoni
Speaking on Geo Cinema, Suresh Raina said that Dhoni kept his strategy simple against Gujarat. The whole country wants to see him win the IPL title. After defeating Gujarat in the first qualifier, CSK entered the final for a record 10th time.

Praising Dhoni, Raina said, “Look how CSK reached the final. 10 finals in 14 seasons. In my opinion, this is a very good performance. MS Dhoni kept things simple. He deserves the credit and Rituraj Gaikwad told me that CSK want Dhoni to win the title this year. Whole of India wants to see Dhoni win the IPL.”

Speaking further, he said, “We have seen that it is very challenging to beat Chennai Super Kings on this ground. Whatever MS Dhoni touches, it turns into gold and that is why his name is Mahendra Singh Dhoni.”
