Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has a huge fan base. RCB have not been able to win a single IPL trophy, despite having players like Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle in the team. It is for this reason that the RCB franchise has always been trolled. Smriti Mandhana is currently leading RCB in WPL. According to Gayle, RCB never won the trophy because only three in the team were given more importance and the others were given less importance.

Gayle was speaking on Geo Cinema. He said at the time, “When you are the main player of the team, you are always in a zone. From RCB’s point of view, I think many players did not consider themselves part of the team. Many felt that they were not part of this franchise. I also felt that I, Virat and AB de Villiers were getting all the importance. Because of that, the other players did not feel like they were part of the team. When something like that happens in a team, it becomes difficult to win the title.”
