“Don’t be careless, Virat is still there”, warns former coach to Australian team

Australia set a huge challenge of 444 runs in front of the Indian team to win the title of the World Test Championship. Chasing this challenge, the Indian team has scored 164 runs for 3 till the end of the fourth day’s play. Although Australia is currently ahead in the match, former Australian coach Justin Langer has given a warning to his team.

The Australian team batted strongly in the second innings to extend the lead of 173 runs obtained in the first innings. Alex Carey and Mitchell Starc’s brilliant partnership took Australia’s lead to 443.

Chasing a target of 444 for victory, the Indian team ended the fourth day at 164 for 3. Virat Kohli is 44 and Ajinkya Rahane is unbeaten with 20 runs. The Indian team needs to score 280 runs on the last day to win this tournament.

Although the Australian team looks like the favorites to win the match, Langer, who played the role of commentator in the match, has advised the Australian team to be cautious. Langer said,

After Rohit Sharma was dismissed, Virat Kohli came to the field at number four. He batted very confidently right from the start. He continued his innings without giving the Australian bowlers any chance. At the end of the day’s play, he was unbeaten on 44 off 60 balls. He hit seven fours in this.
