Faf’s Super Kings blast American League, thrash Knight Riders by 69 runs

The first season of the Major League Cricket 2023 tournament in America began on Thursday (July 13). The first game of the season pitted the Texas Super Kings against the Los Angeles Knight Riders at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas. In this match, the Super Kings team beat the Knight Riders by 69 runs to start the season on a winning note. The architect of this victory was the explosive batsman David Miller. This time Andre Russell scored the most runs while batting for the Knight Riders team. He scored 55 runs off 34 balls. He also hit 3 sixes and 7 fours during this run. Apart from him, only wicketkeeper batsman Jaskaran Malhotra scored 22 runs. No other batsman could cross the 20-run mark. Three of the team’s batsmen returned to the tent for zero, while captain Sunil Narine could only contribute 15 runs.
