As a captain and a coach, I am trying to understand these things (dropping from the playing XI). When we played in England earlier, the Test series was tied 2-2. Meanwhile, some veterans like Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar expressed their displeasure as Ashwin was left out of the playing eleven in this match.
