For the fourth time against Australia, Indian batsmen failed, left-arm spinners hit all four times

India posted the fourth-lowest score in a Test against Australia at home on Wednesday. India’s most disappointing performance in Test matches at home was in 2004 against the Australian team. In a match played in Mumbai, India lost all wickets for just 104 runs, the team’s lowest Test total at home till date. Second in the list is the Pune Test played in 2017. In this match in Pune, Australia wrapped up India’s innings for 105 runs. Also at the third place in the list is the 2017 Pune Test, when India were bowled out for 107 runs. India’s performance in the Indore Test on Wednesday is number four on the list. India were bowled out for just 109 runs in the first innings of this match.

Australia’s success in all four Test matches was due to their left-arm spinners.
