The Asia Cup 2023 schedule has been officially revealed. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced the dates for the tournament on Thursday (June 15). The tournament will be held between August 31 and September 17 in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. 4 matches of this tournament will be played in Pakistan, while 9 matches will be played in Sri Lanka. In fact, the Pakistan Cricket Board has not agreed with the BCCI’s proposed schedule for World Cup 2023. PCB does not want to play league matches against India in Ahmedabad. Najam Sethi said, “When the time comes, it will be decided whether we are going or not. Then the government will decide where we can play. Our decision depends on these two important conditions. Our government will decide. As when India’s time comes, their government decides where they will play. There is no point in asking us whether we will play in Ahmedabad or not.”

After the statement of Najam Sethi, now the reaction of the former captain of the Pakistan team Shahid Afridi has come. He has reprimanded PCB for not playing Pakistan team in Ahmedabad. Afridi questioned the Pakistan board and said, “What is the problem for Pakistani players to play there? What sorcery has been done on the pitch in Ahmedabad, that it is raining fire?”

He said, “If the Indian team wants to play the match at the Ahmedabad Stadium, then Pakistan should also play there. Also, they must be defeated.”
