The match between RCB and Lucknow Super Giants was held on Monday (April 10) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. As this is RCB’s home ground, RCB fans were present in large numbers in the stadium as compared to Lucknow. As the match started, RCB’s fight for victory seemed heavy and the team was getting a great response from the fans present. However, Lucknow turned the tables in the last few overs and took the match on a roll.

Meanwhile, considering this match between the two teams as a whole, RCB scored 212 for 2 while batting first. In reply, Lucknow achieved this target by losing 9 wickets on the last ball. Nicholas Pooran was man of the match, scoring 62 off 19 balls at a strike rate of 326. Puran scored his half-century in just 15 balls, the fastest of the current season and the second-fastest in the IPL overall.
Earlier, captain Faf du Plessis scored 79, former captain Virat Kohli scored 61 and Glenn Maxwell scored 59 for RCB. Apart from Pooran, Mark Stoinis scored a blistering 65 runs for Lucknow. For RCB, Mohammad Siraj and Wayne Parnell took three wickets each, while Harshal Patel took two wickets. Lucknow needed one run to win off the last ball. Avesh Khan was on strike this time. Harshal Patel could not play the last ball to Takel with zeal. But the wicket keeper Dinesh Karthik made a mistake while catching this ball.
