Rest for senior players
Importantly, BCCI has rested several senior players for the T20 series against West Indies. This includes regular captains Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja. The first match of the 5-match T20I series between West Indies and India will be played on August 3 at Brian Lara Stadium.

In fact, Suryakumar Yadav And Tilak Varma impressed everyone with their performances during the IPL 2023 season. Tilak scored 343 runs at an average of 42.87 while batting in 11 matches.
