Havoc! The biggest record in ODIs was broken in two days, an incredible feat by a Zimbabwean player

Qualifier matches for ICC ODI World Cup 2023 are currently being played. In this, on Tuesday (June 20), the Netherlands and Zimbabwe played each other. In this match between the two teams, Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza scored a personal century in the match and took four wickets while bowling. Raza’s brilliant performance saw Zimbabwe win by 120 runs. Along with this, a big record was also recorded in Raza’s name.

Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza won the toss at the beginning of the match and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Netherlands reached 315 for 6 in 50 overs. In reply, Zimbabwe chased down the target of 316 runs in just 40.5 overs. Sinkdar Raza scored a blistering 102* off just 54 balls. This is the fastest ODI century by a single batsman for the Zimbabwe cricket team. Playing the role of a bowler, Raza took 4 wickets for 55 runs in 10 overs. This is Zimbabwe’s second consecutive victory in the World Cup qualifiers. Just two days ago, Sean Williams scored a 70-ball century and became the fastest ODI century for Zimbabwe. But Raza also broke Williamson’s record on Tuesday.

Moreover, 149 runs were scored in 44 balls. This innings played in 2015 included 16 sixes and 9 fours. Virat Kohli has scored the fastest century for India. He scored an unbeaten 100 off 52 balls against Australia at Jaipur in 2013.
