He came and fought until he won! England rolled Bangladesh into their own country on the strength of Malan’s century

England cricket team is on tour to Bangladesh. In this tour, a series of 3 ODIs and 3 international T20 matches will be played between England and Bangladesh. The series started from Wednesday (March 1) in Dhaka. England won the match by 3 wickets. Interestingly, when the team was in trouble, David Malan batted with a storm and scored a century and led the team to victory. He was also honored with the Man of the Match award for this performance.

David Malan became the hero of England’s victory

This time when the condition of the team was bad, David Malan, who landed at the third position, gave a tough fight till the end. He scored the highest unbeaten 114 during this time. He completed these runs in 145 balls with the help of 4 sixes and 8 fours. Apart from him, no one could put up a big score. Only Will Jacks (24) crossed the 20-run mark. No other batsman could cross the 20-run mark.

Taijul Islam took the most 3 wickets while bowling from Bangladesh this time. He spent 54 runs in 10 overs and took 3 wickets. Apart from him, Mehidi Hasan took 2 wickets, while Shakib Al Hasan and Taskeen Ahmed took 1 wicket each.

Bangladesh were bowled out for 209 runs
Earlier, only 3 batsmen from Bangladesh could cross the 20-run mark while batting first. They included Najmul Shanto (58), Mahmudullah (31) and Tamim Iqbal (23). Najmul scored 58 runs off 82 balls. He also hit 6 fours while making these runs. Apart from him, no batsman could cross the 20-run mark.

While bowling from England, four bowlers took 2 wickets and two bowlers took 1 wicket each. Bowlers who took two wickets included Jofra Archer, Mark Wood, Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid. Also, bowlers who took one wicket included Chris Woakes and Will Jacks.

The second ODI between Bangladesh vs England will be played in Dhaka on Friday (March 3). (England won by 3 wickets against Bangladesh)
