David Malan became the hero of England’s victory
Chasing Bangladesh’s challenge, England lost 4 wickets for just 65 runs. This included the wickets of Jason Roy (4), Philip Salt (12), James Vince (6) and captain Jos Buttler (9). This time when the condition of the team was bad, David Malan, who landed at the third position, gave a tough fight till the end. He scored the highest unbeaten 114 during this time. He completed these runs in 145 balls with the help of 4 sixes and 8 fours. Apart from him, no one could put up a big score. Only Will Jacks (24) crossed the 20-run mark. Taijul Islam took the most 3 wickets while bowling from Bangladesh this time. He spent 54 runs in 10 overs and took 3 wickets. Apart from him, Mehidi Hasan took 2 wickets, while Shakib Al Hasan and Taskeen Ahmed took 1 wicket each.
