‘I always worry about him, he gets injured early…’, Kapil Paji’s eye-catching comment on India’s star player

The Indian team has been worried about one thing for some time now. That is player injuries. Former Indian captain Kapil Dev has now expressed concern over the fitness of star all-rounder Hardik Pandya. He has pointed out that players’ careers have been ruined even before injury. In fact, 1983 World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev was asked about India’s injured players. Answering that question, he made a big comment.

Kapil Dev said that if key players are not ruled out due to injuries, the Indian team will be stronger. Speaking to the media, he said, “Injuries are a part of every sportsperson’s life. I hope the situation will improve. I am always worried for Hardik Pandya. He gets injured very quickly. If all those players are fit, there is no other team as strong as India.”

Interestingly, many of the leading aces of the Indian team are away from cricket due to injuries. Those players include Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer and Jasprit Bumrah. These players are not available for selection due to injury. The Indian team wants all the key players to return fully fit before the 2023 World Cup.

Talking about Hardik Pandya, he is on vacation after leading Gujarat Titans in IPL. The Gujarat Titans team had reached the final match in the IPL 2023 tournament. However, the Chennai Super Kings team won by 5 wickets to lift the IPL trophy for the fifth time.
