The former Indian cricket team captain and Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni has come to the end of his career. Despite this, his popularity seems to be increasing rather than decreasing. Now another name has joined their fans. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin confessed his love for Dhoni in front of Dhoni in an event.

Tamil Nadu Champions Foundation was recently launched in Chennai. Chief Minister MK Stalin was invited as the inaugural function and MS Dhoni as the chief guest. Under this scheme, quality players in various sports will be scouted and guided. Speaking at this event, Stalin said,

“Honestly speaking, I am a big fan of Dhoni like everyone else in Tamil Nadu. We wish this boy who was accepted by Tamil Nadu plays more for CSK. He is an inspiration to crores of people in India. We want to produce many such Dhonis in Tamil Nadu. They will be not only in cricket but also in other sports.”

Stalin has been seen praising Dhoni many times in the past as well. He often attends Chennai’s matches live at the ground. On the other hand, Dhoni is the second most successful captain in IPL history. He led Chennai Super Kings to four titles in 2010, 2011, 2018 and 2021. Apart from this, Chennai has participated in the finals of IPL as many as 9 times. Dhoni has been the captain of Chennai all this time.
