‘I shut the mouths of the Indian fans…’, what Harry Brook said after scoring a century

In the 19th match of IPL 2023, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders faced each other. England’s young batsman Harry Brooke was the man of the match for Hasanraisers Hyderabad. Before IPL 2023, Harry Brook had a great performance for England. Against this backdrop, the IPL auction saw competition among franchises to buy him. Sunrisers Hyderabad signed Brook for a whopping Rs 13.25 crore. But in the first three games of the season, he could not make a single big innings. Brook’s performances in the first three games have come under fire from critics. But on Friday (April 14) he smashed an unbeaten 100 off just 55 balls with 12 fours and 3 sixes.

Brook has closed the mouths of the netizens who criticized him a few days ago due to this stormy game. He was adjudged man of the match after the win. After accepting the award, Brooke said, “Tonight is a special night for me. I am ready to bat at any position. The audience’s voice was amazing and I enjoyed it too. These were the same people who were badmouthing me on social media a few days ago. Today many of the same Indian fans are appreciating me. A few days ago these same people were making fun of me. To be honest, I shut them all down.”

Meanwhile, considering the overall score of this match between the two teams, Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 228 for 4 while batting first.
