Meanwhile, India’s former legendary spinner Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has made a revelation, which has raised eyebrows.
In the last match of the recently concluded ODI series against Australia, India’s spinner Kuldeep Yadav smashed Alex Carey’s triple with a powerful delivery. Tweeting the video, a fan said,
“I think Kuldeep didn’t bowl with proper fielding in this match. When Adam Zampa and Agar were bowling for Australia, Smith looked very aggressive fielding. That’s when you need an expert like Laxman Sivaramakrishnan.’
I offered my services to Rahul Dravid and he said that I was too senior to him, to be working under him-with the spinners.

Responding to this tweet, Sivaramakrishnan wrote,
“I spoke to Indian team coach Rahul Dravid about mentoring young spinners. However, he very politely said that you are very senior. It wouldn’t look right working at a position lower than mine.’
The Indian team lost the series after winning the first match in this ODI series. However, India’s spinners are doing well at the moment. In Test cricket, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Akshar Patel consistently trouble the opposition batsmen. So, in limited overs cricket, Indian team has many options like Kuldeep Yadav, Chahal, Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar.
