ICC Rankings: Rashid Khan becomes king of T20, overtakes ‘Ya’ bowler to top spot even before IPL

Recently 3 match T20 series was played in Afghanistan vs Pakistan team. Afghanistan won the series 2-1. After this brilliant victory, Afghanistan’s cricketers have appeared in the ICC ranking list. They have gained a lot in the ICC T20 rankings. In this way, Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan topped the ICC T20 bowling ranking list. Rashid topped this time with 710 points. After his brilliant performance against Bangladesh in 2018, he had 816 T20I points. It was his career best score. Hasaranga, who slipped to second place, has 695 points in the ICC T20 bowling rankings.

Rashid Khan took 1 wicket in each match in the three match series against Pakistan. However, in both the opening matches, he had an average bowling performance. Rashid’s teammate Fazalhaq Farooqui took 5 wickets in the series. This time he bowled brilliantly with an economy rate of just 4.75.
