ICC T20 Ranking released as IPL starts, Suryakumar in poor form at ‘Ya’ position

Suryakumar Yadav is currently in poor form. But still Suryakumar has emerged as the best in the latest ICC rankings released on Wednesday (April 12). Suryakumar has maintained his first position in the list of batsmen in the T20 order. Apart from that, Pakistan captain Babar Azam has jumped to the third position in the latest T20 rankings.

Suryakumar Yadav is number one in the latest ICC T20 rankings. He has a total of 906 rating points. Second is Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan, who has 811 rating points. Babar Azam has reached the third position with 755 rating points. South Africa’s Aden Markram is at the fourth position, while New Zealand’s Devon Conway is at the fifth position. Suryakumar Yadav is currently busy with IPL. In this case, he does not want to play a single T20 international match in the next two months. On the other hand, the T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand will start on Saturday (April 14). Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have a chance to overtake Suryakumar in this series. Both these batsmen are likely to perform well in this series at home. In this case, Suryakumar’s first position may also suffer in the coming days.

The recently concluded T20I series between New Zealand and Sri Lanka also made a difference in the ICC rankings. Sri Lanka’s Mahish Tikshana achieved a career-high ranking. He is currently joint fifth in the list of bowlers. England’s Adil Rashid and Mahish Tikshana are fifth in the T20I bowlers’ list with 684 rating points.
