ICC Test Rankings: Australian team repeats history; This ‘coincidence’ happened after 39 years
Australian batsmen have repeated history in the Test rankings by defeating India in the final of the World Test Championship. Also, Australian batsmen have reached the top spot. Joe is present on route number 6 and Daryl Mitchell on route 7. Sri Lanka’s Dimuth Karunaratne is ranked 8th. Usman Khawaja is ranked 9th while India’s Rishabh Pant is ranked 10th. Pant is the only Indian batsman to have made it to the top 10 in the Test batting rankings.
Also, talking about the bowler rankings, Ravichandran Aswin remains at the top spot in the ICC rankings. However, the injured Jasprit Bumrah slipped to the eighth position in the bowlers’ list. Ravindra Jadeja is appearing on 9 sequences.
