‘If the Asia Cup happens without us, we will simultaneously…’ PCB chief warns India

Pakistan Cricket Board chief Najam Sethi has once again targeted India. Sethi warned India while talking to the media on Friday (May 12), referring to the Asia Cup. The reason behind that is that only 5 months are left for the World Cup to be held in India.

However, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has not yet received any written assurance from the Pakistan Cricket Board to participate in it. Therefore, Pakistan’s entry into the World Cup is now in doubt. The first match of the World Cup England vs. The match between New Zealand is expected to take place on October 5. It is also said that the final match will be held on November 19. In the World Cup on October 15, India vs Pakistan will see a tough fight.

Najam Sethi has once again made a big statement in the Asia Cup 2023 debate. He said,
“If the Asia Cup is not held as per our terms, the tri-series will be played at the same time.” However, Najam Sethi refused to say with which countries he will host the tri-series. The Asia Cup has been discussed for a long time. A lot of news has come out about where the Asia Cup will be held. However, Sethi has made a shocking statement in this regard. At this time, he made a big revelation that the Asia Cup can also be organized in England.

“We have the Asia Cup host and we will decide where the matches will be played. Perhaps we can also say that we want to play at Lord’s and The Oval. Because it will be a lot of fun to play there,” he added.

We are planning a three country tournament
Apart from this, Sethi also commented on organizing the tri-series. “If PCB’s hybrid model is not considered and we don’t play in the Asia Cup, we will plan a three-nation tournament in the same period,” the special said.

Recently PCB chief Najam Sethi attended the meeting of ICC and Asian Cricket Council in Dubai. After that he left for London.
