‘I’m bored alone…’, Chris Gayle welcomed Virat to his exclusive club

Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli are the two players who have scored the most centuries in the IPL. On Thursday (May 18) Sunrisers Hyderabad Vs. Virat Kohli scored a century in the match played against Royal Challengers Bangalore. This became his 6th century in IPL. Former West Indies and RCB player Chris Gayle welcomed Virat to his exclusive club after his 6th IPL century. Interestingly, before Virat, Gayle was the only batsman who scored the most 6 centuries in IPL. Now Virat also joined Chris Gayle’s club.

Virat Kohli scored a magnificent century after almost 4 years in an important match against Hyderabad. Also, took the lion’s share in the victory of his team. Virat made a brilliant innings of 100 runs in 63 balls. Therefore, RCB easily passed Hyderabad’s challenge of 188 runs.

Virat joins Chris Gayle’s club
Virat previously scored his last century in IPL 2019. He then played 4 IPL seasons, but did not score a single century. Now in IPL 2023, Virat ended the century drought. He entered Chris Gayle’s club by scoring a century in an important match against Hyderabad.

In fact, Gayle scored 6 centuries in 142 matches in IPL. Also, Virat did this feat in 236 matches.
