In-form bowler banned by ICC, read what happened in World Cup Qualifier match
Currently the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 Qualifier matches are being played. There is a bad news for the United States of America i.e. USA team in these ongoing matches in Zimbabwe. USA fast bowler Kyle Phillips has been banned by the ICC.
Kyle Phillips (Kyle Phillip) caught the eye of the umpires in the match against West Indies. Kyle’s bowling was ruled illegal. According to the umpires, the bowler’s action did not fit the ICC rules and for this reason he was banned. He has been banned from international cricket with a penalty of 6.7 per ICC rules. Phillip took three wickets in the match against West Indies on 18 June. But after seeing the action of the 26-year-old bowler, doubts were raised about it. The ICC panel then took action against him. According to the rules, his ban will remain in place until he proposes to have his bowling action assessed. After that he has to prove that his bowling is correct and within the rules.
Meanwhile, when it comes to the ICC World Cup Qualifier matches, it has been a disappointing tournament for Team USA. They have not been able to win any of the three matches they have played so far. Team USA lost by 5 wickets to Netherlands on Thursday (June 22). Thus, the team has very little hope of reaching the Super 6 round. USK is currently ranked fifth in Group A. Team USA will play their final match of the league stage against Zimbabwe on June 26. If we consider the overall qualifiers, West Indies team is currently on the first position in Group A. While in Group B, Oman’s performance is the best. (ICC bans USA fast bowler Kyle Phillips)
